This is Asher's favourite pose at the moment. Whenever we lie him on his back he sticks his left arm out straight - often straight up in the air - and stares at his fist. He swipes at objects with it, and sometimes accidentally grabs hold of them.

"What IS this thing?!" |
Not so the right hand, however. Asher has always had a preference for staring to his left, such that he is rarely aware of anything happening on his right. (Unless it's milk). I think he is still blissfully unaware of his right hand's existence... imagine his surprise when he finds out he's got one on
both sides!

Smiling for Daddy |
The health visitor said it was nothing to worry about, so I'm not worrying. Just making sure I present interesting toys and activities from Ash's right side. So far he hasn't spotted any of them. I bet he's wondering what happened to his dangly elephant!
Oh, and for the record... he now weighs 12lb 14 and is wearing 3-6 month clothes. I put a load of his things in the wash and by the time they were clean they didn't fit him any more!
